Stem Cells Role in the Repair of Skin Damage

We do not use embryonic, fetal, plant or animal stem cells. Our focus is entirely on the class of human adult stem cells called Mesenchymal Stem Cells.

The Versatility of the MSC

Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) are very versatile and are commonly called the duct tape of the body’s repair toolbox for their ability to be used in many circumstances.

In general, MSCs differentiate to create all the structural tissues of the body including: bone, cartilage, and muscle as well as the dermal layers of the skin.

Stem Cells are very important for normal growth and maturation; as we age, we have fewer and fewer of them available for tissue repair (e.g. in our skin).

What are Stem Cells?

Stem Cells are cells that can develop into other cells that have specific roles in the body. Stem cells have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body during early life and growth. In addition, in many tissues they serve as a sort of internal repair system, dividing essentially without limit to replenish other cells as long as the person or animal is still alive.

When a stem cell divides, each new cell has the potential either to remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell. There are many types of stem cells, but they can be classified into two basic groups:

1. Adult Stem Cells (taken from the body tissue of bone marrow, umbilical cord of our own body, fat cells, or cells from pigs - any non-embryo stem cell)

2. Embryonic Stem Cells that are taken from an embryo. FAQ

Why is this so expensive?

The harvesting, growing, feeding and culturing of stem cells is a very intensive and costly process. When you look at all the active ingredients in our products and compare the cost of other products where you would need to buy 5 or 6 products to get all of these ingredients, plus some that exist in Stemoxyl that are not in any of the others, the cost of Stemulance Powered by Stemoxyl™ is quite reasonable. The entire system is considerably less than several well known inferior crèmes and products.
